Company history Shama Designs, based in Shakopee, Minnesota (U.S.A.), has been the premier design and manufacturing resource for many customers. Shama Designs specialize in chic ethnic Indo Western and traditional Indian clothes, ladies ethnicwear, kids partywear, home furnishings, custom fit services etc- you name it we do it!. In addition we are working on a line of accessories- handmade jewelry, beaded purses, bindis - and more to make your outfit complete!
Our Boutique's grand official opening event was Aug 18th 2007.
Shama Designs get regular orders creating ethnic and western dresses (Salwar Kameez, Sarees, Lehngas, Shararas, Chaniyas, Ghararas, etc.) . We work with a variety of fabrics - Charmuse Satin, Organza, Gharchola, Bandhani and other Silks, Crepes, Georgettes and Cottons.

Shama Designs has a design studio to cater to the needs of Minnesota clients and an online boutique for clients all across America. If you like to always look your stylish best whether you are in street clothes or in club-wear, and expect the fit to be just right, with a dash of ethnic or exotic chic thrown in, Shama Designs is the place for you to shop.
Custom fit is what Shama Designs specializes in. You just need to give us your body measurements. You also can select from the body shapes the one that comes closest to your body shape. That's all and rest assured you will get a garment that fits both your body and your outlook well.
Shama Designs provides fine custom design, tailoring and fit specialization. At Shama Designs each garment in itself is a creation of its own with your selection of fabrics and designed to your exact specification of style and fit. Shama Designs individually hand-stitch and use professional appliances for each garment with painstaking detail and attention. Each step of the process from the cutting, to the sewing and finishing is given great attention to assure the finest in quality.

Shama Designs works with you in creating custom clothes for you - just for who you are - it is a boutique for those who are comfortable making up their own mind about what they wear. Shama Designs is a boutique that offers you the unique option of custom-clothes that are not only to your specific size but to your specific style as well!
Shama Designs encourages you to actively participate in the designing process-you can change the neckline, sleeve length, body length and choose from a range of styles and trends. You can change a salwar into pants and a kameez into a short tunic.
We are working on setting up the website for online sales. For now, please call the designer, to discuss measurements, fabric, silhouette, details, trims etc for placing the order. The orderinfit specializationg process and the navigation through the site will be designed to be simple and intuitive and is in line with what you would usually see in any e-commerce store.
Shama Designs will take about 2-5 days to make your custom fit clothes- (sometimes overnight if there is an urgent need!) and about 2-5 business days to ship the package.
